Roblox Statistics 2026: Daily Active Users, Bookings, Revenue, DevEx Payouts and Player Records
Roblox averaged 123 million daily active users in Q2 2026, its latest reported quarter, down from a record 151.5 million in Q3 2025. Users spent 29 billion hours on Roblox that quarter. In 2025 Roblox booked $6.8 billion and paid creators $1.5 billion. Every figure links to Roblox’s own filings.

Key takeaways
- Roblox’s audience peaked at 151.5 million daily active users in Q3 2025, the summer of Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot, and has eased to 123 million, still 10% more than a year earlier.
- 2025 was Roblox’s biggest year: 127 million average daily users, 123.9 billion hours, $6.8 billion of bookings (up 55%) and $4.9 billion of revenue, yet still a $1.07 billion net loss.
- Growth has stalled in 2026. Q2 bookings rose only 8%, and Roblox expects Q3 bookings to fall 14–18% as a younger audience spends less per hour and a new recommendation algorithm favours retention.
- Most players are outside North America (82% of daily users), but the US and Canada still bring 57% of revenue; a US or Canadian daily user brings in $38.63 a quarter, against $4.90 in Asia-Pacific.
- Creators earned $1.5 billion through the Developer Exchange in 2025, up 63%, after Roblox raised the cash-out rate to $0.0038 per earned Robux. More than 23,500 creators were paid.
- Roblox set a platform record of more than 45 million concurrent users on 23 August 2025, and a single game, Steal a Brainrot, reached 25 million at once.

Roblox grew steadily by about 20% a year from 2022 to 2024, then jumped in 2025. Daily users rose from 85.3 million in Q4 2024 to 151.5 million in Q3 2025 as a run of viral games pulled in new players, especially teenagers and players outside North America. Since then the count has fallen for three quarters in a row. Roblox points to the December 2025 ban in Russia, mandatory age checks for chat from January 2026, and tough comparisons with the viral summer of 2025. Q2 2026 was still 10% above Q2 2025.[14][6][4][1]

Asia-Pacific has more Roblox players than any other region, yet earns the least per player: a daily user in the US or Canada brought in almost eight times as much as one in Asia-Pacific in Q2 2026. That gap is why growth in India, Indonesia and Japan adds users faster than money. Europe is the bright spot for spending, with bookings up 18% while its user count was flat.[2][1]

Roblox’s concurrency record of more than 45 million users came on 23 August 2025, during the run of Grow a Garden (nearly 22 million players at once in July) and Steal a Brainrot (25 million). Roblox says each of those games peaked above what the whole platform managed a year earlier. Play has since spread out: the top 10 games took about 20% of hours in Q2 2026, against 30% three years earlier, although the top 50 still hold about half of in-game time.[6][5][1][7]

Roblox revenue per quarter
Bookings are what players spent on Robux in the period; revenue is the slice Roblox may recognise under accounting rules. Because most Robux buy items that last, Roblox spreads them over the 27-month average life of a paying user. That is why revenue still grew 36% in Q2 2026 while bookings grew 8%, and why Roblox expects Q3 2026 revenue to rise even as bookings fall 14–18%. Roblox blames the slowdown on young US and Canadian players moving from the high-spending viral games of 2025 to games that earn less per hour, and on a new recommendation algorithm that favours retention.[1]

- Standard rate: $0.0038 per earned Robux, so the 30,000 earned Robux minimum cashes out at $114 (from 5 September 2025; $0.0035 before).
- US 18+ rate: $0.0054 per earned Robux on passes, developer products, subscriptions and private servers bought by age-verified US adults in eligible games (from 8 June 2026).
- To cash out, a creator must be at least 13, hold 30,000 earned Robux, have a verified email and a DevEx portal account, and file a US tax form (W-9 or W-8).
- Roblox says the 18+ rate lifts creators’ effective share of that spend from 26.6% to 37.8%, assuming a 30% platform fee and Robux sold at about $0.01 each.
Creator payouts grew faster than bookings in 2025, 63% against 55%, because Roblox raised the DevEx rate 8.5% in September and paid out on the year’s viral hits. The money is concentrated: the top 1,000 creators averaged $1.3 million each in 2025, while just over 23,500 creators were paid anything at all. Payouts fell back to $363 million in Q2 2026, still 15% above a year earlier.[7][6][5][1]
Methodology and caveats
Every figure was read by our team on 13 October 2026 from a Roblox document: the quarterly shareholder letters and earnings releases from Q1 2023 to Q2 2026 (as filed with the US SEC), the Q2 2026 Supplemental Materials deck, the Q2 2026 quarterly report (10-Q), the annual reports (10-K) for 2021 to 2025 and Roblox’s Creator Hub pages on Developer Exchange rates. No figure comes from a third-party tracker. Each source below links to the exact document.
Where we combined Roblox’s numbers, the figure says so: regional totals, the “both stores” app-store share, and the shares of daily payers. Annual dollar figures are converted from Roblox’s thousand-dollar tables and rounded to one decimal. Chart values in the supplemental deck were read from the slides themselves.
The latest data is Roblox’s Q2 2026 (April–June) results, published on 30 July 2026. Roblox reports Q3 2026 on 29 October 2026, and we will update the page then.
- Daily active users and monthly payers count accounts, not people. One person can hold several accounts, Roblox warns that undetected bots can overstate DAUs, and its metrics are not audited by a third party.
- Bookings are a non-GAAP measure of what users spent in the period; revenue is the GAAP figure and lags bookings by up to 27 months. Compare bookings with bookings and revenue with revenue.
- From Q1 2026 Roblox rounds to whole millions and restated earlier quarters, so recent DAU and hours figures have no decimal and may differ slightly from older releases.
- Age figures from 2026 come from age checks covering 57% of daily users and are extrapolated to the rest; they are not comparable with the self-reported ages Roblox used before.
- Regional splits place users by the IP address used at sign-up and bookings by billing country. Xbox users were counted in “Rest of world” until Q3 2023.
- Roblox was blocked in Russia from December 2025 to June 2026, which Roblox says cost about three percentage points of year-on-year DAU and hours growth in Q2 2026.
