The 9 pack sizes, their US list prices and their EA Play prices come from the PlayStation Store product pages and match Microsoft’s US catalogue. Edition prices and the Ultimate Edition’s 6,000 FC Points come from the same stores; the console-family rule from EA’s Dual Entitlement FAQ. Each table row links to the page it was read from.
Packs only come in fixed sizes, so “what does this cost” means “which packs reach at least this many FC Points for the least money”. The calculator runs an exact search over every combination (an unbounded knapsack, not a “biggest pack first” rule). On a tie in price it picks fewer purchases, then more points.
For a budget it finds the combination that gives the most FC Points without going over, and shows what is left unspent. Above $600 it fills the bulk with 18,500 packs first, which never changes the answer because that pack has the best rate.
Each pack’s price divided by its points, times 100. For a mix of packs the scoreboard shows the effective rate of the whole basket — what you pay divided by everything you get, leftover included.
Prices are US list prices before sales tax (Microsoft’s catalogue marks them “TaxesNotIncluded”). We assume no limited-time sale is running, and the EA Play switch assumes an active EA Play membership on that platform. We did not check PC prices, and prices in other countries differ and are not converted. “Worth” figures value points at a pack’s rate; FC Points have no cash value.
We read every price in this tool on 6 October 2026. On the US PlayStation Store we opened all 9 “EA SPORTS FC™ 27 - FC Points” product pages linked from the FC 27 add-ons on playstation.com; each returned its price with the currency code USD. We checked from Poland, where store pages tend to switch to złoty, so we also asked Microsoft’s catalogue for the 9 Xbox FC Points products with the market set to US. Both stores listed the same 9 prices, from $0.79 to $149.99, and the same EA Play prices, to the cent.
The pack line-up is not last year’s. Several price lists that rank for “FC 27 points” still show 2,200 and 4,600 point packs; the FC 27 stores we opened list 50, 100, 500, 1,050, 1,600, 2,800, 5,900, 12,000 and 18,500 instead, and no 2,200 or 4,600. Neither store splits a pack into base and bonus points, so we show totals only rather than guess at a bonus.
The 500 pack is a small trap: at 99.8¢ per 100 it costs slightly more per point than the 100 pack (99¢). It is still one checkout instead of five.
The PlayStation product pages carry PS4 compatibility notes (the PS4 product code serves both consoles, as the PS4 & PS5 add-on grid on playstation.com shows). We did not check PC prices on the EA app or Steam, which this machine shows in local currency, and we found no EA Help article on moving FC 26 points to FC 27 — the transfer article still describes FC 25 to FC 26.

In the US, before sales tax: 50 for $0.79, 100 for $0.99, 500 for $4.99, 1,050 for $9.99, 1,600 for $14.99, 2,800 for $24.99, 5,900 for $49.99, 12,000 for $99.99, 18,500 for $149.99. Those are the prices the PlayStation Store and the Xbox store both listed on 6 October 2026. Per 100 FC Points that runs from 158¢ in the 50 pack down to 81.1¢ in the 18,500 pack.
$24.99 on the US PlayStation Store and Xbox store, or $22.49 with EA Play. 2,800 is one of the 9 pack sizes, so it is one purchase with nothing left over, at 89.3¢ per 100 FC Points. The store listing gives 2,800 as a single total; it does not split it into base and bonus points.
Per point, the 18,500 FC Points pack at $149.99 is best (81.1¢ per 100), and EA Play takes 10% off every pack, which brings it to 73¢. For a specific amount, buy the smallest mix that covers it rather than the biggest pack: 6,000 FC Points costs $50.98 as 1 × 5,900 + 1 × 100. Avoid the 50 FC Points pack except to close a tiny gap — at 158¢ per 100 it is the worst rate on the list.
Yes, in the US stores we checked. Every FC 27 FC Points product on the US PlayStation Store showed a second price labelled “Save 10% with EA Play” (for example $22.49 instead of $24.99 for 2,800), and Microsoft’s US catalogue lists the same discounted prices for the Xbox products, tied to an EA Play upsell. The calculator has an EA Play switch that re-prices every pack.
Only within a console family. EA’s FC 27 Dual Entitlement FAQ says Football Ultimate Team progress, FC Points included, transfers from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back, on the same EA Account. Asked whether it moves from PlayStation 4 to Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One to PlayStation 5, the FAQ answers “No”. Buy FC Points on the console family where you play Ultimate Team.
Not confirmed by EA at the time we checked (6 October 2026). The EA Help transfer article we opened still covers FC 25 to FC 26: a one-time, permanent transfer offered by a pop-up the first time you log in, made on console or PC (not the Web or Companion App), and only within the same console family. We found no equivalent EA Help page for FC 26 to FC 27, so we do not state the rule as fact here.
6,000 FC Points, delivered over 3 months, according to the US PlayStation Store and Xbox listings. The Ultimate Edition is $99.99 against $69.99 for the Standard Edition, a $30.00 step; buying 6,000 FC Points in packs would cost $50.98. The footnote says you must start claiming by 1 August 2027 to get all 6,000, and redeeming after 26 September 2027 gives none.
5,900 FC Points (1 × 5,900) for $49.99, with $0.01 unspent, at US list prices. With EA Play the same $50 buys 6,400 FC Points (1 × 5,900 + 1 × 500). Microsoft’s US catalogue marks these prices as excluding tax, so where sales tax applies a $50 wallet balance covers less than $50 of packs.
Between 0.81¢ and 1¢ in the packs from 100 points up, depending on the pack (1.58¢ in the 50-point pack). That is 100 to 123 FC Points per dollar. This is what points cost to buy; FC Points have no cash or resale value.
