Worked examples: the Battle Pass, the Premier Pack and budgets

  1. The Premium Battle Pass (1,200 R6 Credits)

The strictly cheapest way in is 2 × 600 for $9.98 (1,200 R6 Credits, 2 purchases); one 1,200 pack is $9.99, a cent more for one checkout. Ubisoft’s Operation Split Fire pass page lists “Extra 600 R6 Credits” among the Premium rewards, so a player who reaches those tiers needs only 600 R6 Credits of new money for the next pass — 1 × 600, $4.99. That is our arithmetic, not a price Ubisoft lists.

  2. The Battle Pass Bundle ($19.99)

The Bundle is sold for money, not credits: the Premium Pass, 25 Tier Skips and a 7-day Renown Booster for $19.99 on the US PlayStation Store. The pass alone is $9.99 in credits, so the 25 skips and the booster cost the other $10.00.

  3. The 5,000 Premier Pack against the regular packs

The seasonal Premier Pack is $39.99 for 5,000 R6 Credits, two weapon skins and a 7-day Renown Booster — 80¢ per 100. The regular packs reach 5,000 as 1 × 3,300 + 3 × 600 for $39.96 (5,100 R6 Credits, 4 purchases). So the Premier Pack does not buy credits more cheaply; it is worth it only if you want the skins.

  4. 3,000 R6 Credits: why the $25 pack still wins

The cheapest exact basket is 5 × 600 for $24.95 (3,000 R6 Credits, 5 purchases). The 3,300 pack is $24.99 — $0.04 more for 300 extra credits and one checkout instead of five.

  5. 10,000 R6 Credits

    1 × 7,200 + 5 × 600 for $74.94 (10,200 R6 Credits, 6 purchases), with 200 spare. With fewer checkouts: 1 × 7,200 + 1 × 3,300 for $74.98 (10,500 R6 Credits, 2 purchases). One 15,000 pack is $99.99 — $25.05 more for 4,800 more credits, at the best rate on the ladder (66.7¢ per 100 against 73.5¢).

  6. A $50 or a $100 budget, with and without Ubisoft+ on Xbox

    At list price $50 buys 7,200 R6 Credits (1 × 7,200). At the lower Xbox price shown with Ubisoft+ Premium, $50 buys 7,800 R6 Credits (1 × 7,200 + 1 × 600) and $100 buys 16,200 R6 Credits (1 × 15,000 + 1 × 1,200).

Seven things that change what you pay for R6 Credits

  1. The 1,200 pack is the worst value on the ladder, not the 600: two 600s cost $9.98 against $9.99. It is under a tenth of a cent per 100 (83.2¢ against 83.3¢), so it only matters if you like exact answers.
  2. Many price lists are out of date. On 10 June 2025 Ubisoft replaced the $20 and $35 packs with a $25 pack of 3,300, and cut the $50 pack from 7,560 to 7,200 (4.8% fewer credits) and the $100 pack from 16,000 to 15,000 (6.3% fewer credits). A guide that still lists 7,560 or 16,000 credits predates Siege X.
  3. The bigger packs carry the discount: 100 R6 Credits cost 83.2¢ in the 600 pack and 66.7¢ in the 15,000 pack, 19.8% less. The 7,200 pack sits between at 69.4¢.
  4. Microsoft’s US catalogue shows a second Xbox price 10% below list on every pack ($4.49 for 600), offered with an upsell to Ubisoft+ Premium. The US PlayStation Store listings showed list price only. Switch “Ubisoft+ price (Xbox)” on if that applies to you.
  5. The Premium Pass gives a “10% discount on all items from the in-game store” for the season, per Ubisoft’s pass page — so a skin priced at 1,000 credits costs about 900 while you hold the pass. Ubisoft does not say how it rounds; the item-price box rounds to the nearest credit.
  6. R6 Membership is a separate route to the pass: $9.99 for 1 month, $24.99 for 3 months, $79.99 for 12 months on the US PlayStation Store, with Premium Battle Pass access and an operator bundle each month. The 12-month plan works out to $6.67 a month.
  7. Ubisoft’s cross-platform synchronization post lists R6 Credits in its currency table but leaves the rule blank, and we found no first-party statement that a credit balance moves between PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Items you unlock are shared across linked platforms; buy credits on the platform you will spend them on.

How the R6 Credits calculator works

Sourced figures
The 5 pack sizes and their US prices come from the PlayStation Store product pages and match Microsoft’s US catalogue, which also supplies the Ubisoft+ Premium price. The Battle Pass price in credits, its rewards and the season dates come from Ubisoft’s Battle Pass page; the seasonal packs from Ubisoft’s in-game items page and the PlayStation Store; the 2025 pack change from Ubisoft’s announcement.
Credits → USD: three baskets compared
Packs only come in fixed sizes, so “what does this cost” means “which packs reach at least this many credits for the least money”. The calculator runs an exact search over every combination (an unbounded knapsack, not “biggest pack first”); on a tie it picks fewer purchases, then more credits. Beside it, it shows a tidier basket and the cheapest single pack that covers the amount.
USD → Credits: the most for a budget
For a budget it finds the combination that gives the most credits without going over, and shows what is left unspent next to the biggest single pack you could buy instead.
What a balance is worth
A balance is valued at two pack rates — the best (the largest pack) and the worst — because the same credits cost a different amount depending on which pack they came from.
What we assume
Prices are US list prices before sales tax, and we assume no limited-time sale is running. The Ubisoft+ Premium price is what Microsoft’s catalogue shows beside the upsell; we did not subscribe to confirm it at checkout. The “fewer checkouts” basket treats each extra purchase as worth $0.25 of hassle — our choice, not a store figure. The Battle Pass discount on an item is rounded to the nearest credit, because Ubisoft does not say how it rounds. The “next pass costs 600 new credits” example assumes you reach the tier that pays out the 600.

What we checked on 13 October 2026, and what we could not

We read every price in this tool on 13 October 2026. On the US PlayStation Store we opened the 5 “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege … R6 Credits” product pages; each page’s data carried the price as a dollar amount. We work from Poland, so to rule out local pricing we also asked Microsoft’s catalogue for the 5 Xbox credit products with the market set to US. Both listed the same 5 prices, from $4.99 to $99.99, to the cent.

The Xbox records also carried a second price, 10% lower, attached to an upsell for Ubisoft+ Premium. We record both and use list price unless you switch the Ubisoft+ option on. The stores give one total per pack, with no base and bonus split.

The Battle Pass price in credits (1,200), its 600-credit reward and the 10% store discount come from Ubisoft’s Operation Split Fire Battle Pass page on ubisoft.com; the seasonal Premier and Welcome packs from Ubisoft’s in-game items page; the 10 June 2025 pack change from Ubisoft’s own announcement. The Battle Pass Bundle, Premier Pack and R6 Membership dollar prices are from their US PlayStation Store listings.

We did not check PC prices (Ubisoft Connect, Steam), any country other than the US, or the price of individual skins and operators in credits — those rotate, so the calculator lets you type the price you see in game. We could not find a first-party statement on whether a credit balance moves between platforms.

R6 Credits questions, answered

How much are R6 Credits in USD?

In the US, before sales tax: 600 for $4.99, 1,200 for $9.99, 3,300 for $24.99, 7,200 for $49.99, 15,000 for $99.99. The PlayStation Store and Microsoft’s Xbox catalogue listed the same prices on 13 October 2026. Per 100 R6 Credits that runs from 83.3¢ in the 1,200 pack down to 66.7¢ in the 15,000 pack.

How much is 1,200 R6 Credits?

$9.99 as one 1,200 pack. Strictly, 2 × 600 is cheaper at $9.98 — a cent less for two checkouts. 1,200 credits is exactly the price of the Premium Battle Pass.

How much is 1 R6 Credit worth in USD?

Between 0.667¢ and 0.833¢, depending on the pack — under a cent. That is 120 to 150 R6 Credits per dollar. This is what credits cost to buy; Ubisoft does not buy them back.

How much does the R6 Battle Pass cost?

The Operation Split Fire Premium Pass is 1,200 R6 Credits on Ubisoft’s Battle Pass page — $9.99 as one pack, or $9.98 as 2 × 600. The Battle Pass Bundle, with 25 Tier Skips and a 7-day Renown Booster, is sold for $19.99 on the US PlayStation Store. The Premium Pass lists 600 R6 Credits among its rewards.

What is the best value R6 Credits pack?

The 15,000 pack at $99.99: 66.7¢ per 100, 150 credits per dollar. The worst is the 1,200 pack at 83.3¢ — even the 600 pack is a hair better (83.2¢). The seasonal 5,000 Premier Pack ($39.99) is 80¢ per 100 plus two skins.

How many R6 Credits do you get for $20 or $50?

$20 buys 2,400 R6 Credits (2 × 1,200) for $19.98; $50 buys 7,200 R6 Credits (1 × 7,200). There is no $20 pack any more: Ubisoft replaced it with a $25 pack of 3,300 on 10 June 2025.

Did R6 Credit packs change with Siege X?

Yes. From 10 June 2025, Ubisoft’s announcement says, the $50 pack gives 7,200 credits instead of 7,560, the $100 pack 15,000 instead of 16,000, and a $25 pack of 3,300 replaced the $20 and $35 packs. The $5 and $10 packs did not change.

Are R6 Credits cheaper with Ubisoft+?

On Xbox, Microsoft’s US catalogue lists every pack about 10% lower with an upsell to Ubisoft+ Premium: 600 for $4.49, 1,200 for $8.99, 3,300 for $22.49, 7,200 for $44.99, 15,000 for $89.99. That puts 100 credits at 60¢ in the largest pack. The US PlayStation Store showed list prices only on 13 October 2026.
