Warframe Platinum Calculator: Platinum to USD, every pack price and coupons

This Warframe Platinum calculator converts Platinum to US dollars and back, finds the cheapest mix of packs for any amount, and works out where a bonus coupon saves most. The short answer: there are 7 Platinum packs, from 75 Platinum for $4.99 to 4,600 Platinum for $199.99; 100 Platinum costs between $4.35 and $6.65; 1,000 Platinum is $49.99. The pack sizes changed on 17 February 2026, so older price lists are wrong.

Bonus coupons: the best pack for 2,000 Platinum

With a bonus coupon the biggest pack is not always the right one. These rows try the coupon on every pack and keep the cheapest way to the target. The coupon sizes are examples, and the rule that a coupon covers one pack is our assumption.

Xbox US prices; the bonus is rounded down to whole Platinum.

+75%1,025 pack → 1,7933 × 75$64.96 (2,018)$35.02

Worked examples: 1,000 Platinum, budgets, PlayStation vs Xbox and coupons

  • How much is 1,000 Platinum?

One 1,025 pack, $49.99 — since the February refresh it is the cheapest way to 1,000 and leaves 25 Platinum over. Before 17 February 2026 the same tier held exactly 1,000 Platinum (plus Mods).

  • 100 Platinum

Cheapest: 2 × 75 for $9.98 (150 Platinum, 2 purchases), a cent less than one 175 pack at $9.99 — which gives 25 more Platinum in one checkout. For one cent, the single pack is usually the better buy.

  • 300 Platinum

The strict minimum is 4 × 75 for $19.96 (300 Platinum, 4 purchases). One 380 pack is $19.99: $0.03 more for 80 extra Platinum in one checkout.

  • 5,000 Platinum on Xbox vs PlayStation

    Xbox: 1 × 4,600 + 1 × 175 + 3 × 75 for $224.95 (5,000 Platinum, 5 purchases). PlayStation, which has no 4,600 pack: 1 × 3,450 + 1 × 1,025 + 1 × 380 + 2 × 75 for $229.95 (5,005 Platinum, 5 purchases) — $5.00 more.

  • A $200 budget

    On Xbox, $200 buys 4,600 Platinum (1 × 4,600). On PlayStation, 4,475 Platinum (1 × 3,450 + 1 × 1,025) — 125 fewer, because the 4,600 pack is not sold there.

  • A $30 budget

    $30 buys 555 Platinum as 1 × 380 + 1 × 175 for $29.98, leaving $0.02 — $5.40 per 100 Platinum.

  • What did 50 Platinum cost?

If you sell an item to another player for 50 Platinum, that Platinum was bought for between $2.17 (at the 3,450-pack rate) and $3.33 (at the 75-pack rate). That is a purchase cost, not a cash value: you cannot sell Platinum back for money. (50 is our example, not a market price.)

  • A +50% bonus coupon and 1,000 Platinum

Put the coupon on the 380 pack (380 + 190 bonus) and add 1 × 380 + 1 × 75: $44.97 for 1,025 Platinum, against $49.99 without a coupon. The best pack for a coupon is not always the biggest one — it is the one that, together with the rest of the basket, reaches your target for the least money. (Coupon size and target are our examples.)

Things that change what Platinum costs you, and what you can do with it

  • The two biggest packs cost the same per Platinum. 3,450 for $149.99 and 4,600 for $199.99 both work out to $4.35 per 100 — the 3,450 pack is ahead by a fraction of a cent. Above $149.99, buying bigger saves nothing.
  • Small packs are where Platinum is dear: the 75 pack is $6.65 per 100, 53% more than the best rate. If you will spend more Platinum later, one bigger pack beats several small ones.
  • Older price lists are out of date. On 17 February 2026 DE dropped the Mods from Platinum packs and added Platinum instead: 170 became 175, 370 became 380, 1,000 became 1,025, 2,100 became 2,200, 3,210 became 3,450 and 4,300 became 4,600. Pages that still list 170 or 4,300 predate the change.
  • The pack line-up depends on where you buy. DE says the 4,600 pack is not sold on PlayStation, and the 3,450 pack not on PlayStation in Asia outside Japan. warframe.com’s own PC shop listed every size except 3,450 when we checked.
  • Coupons come in two kinds: warframe.com’s account bar has a slot for a percentage off all Platinum and one for a percentage of bonus Platinum on select packs. DE’s support site does not spell out how they are used, so the coupon mode assumes one coupon applies to one pack and rounds the bonus down — check the in-game purchase screen before you buy.
  • Only purchased Platinum can be traded, per Warframe Support, and trading needs Mastery Rank 2 plus two-factor authentication (TennoGuard). Trade tax is paid in Credits. Trading Platinum or items for real money breaks the Terms of Use and can get an account banned.
  • Cross-platform trading is allowed, but DE’s Cross Platform guide says Platinum cannot be traded between Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
  • Linking accounts for Cross Platform Save is permanent. DE’s guide says only the Primary Account’s progress and inventory carry over, and some real-money bundles on the other account are kept “minus their Platinum” — read the guide before linking an account that holds Platinum.
  • Refunds: Warframe Support says once Platinum has been spent no refund is possible, and refunds are only available for a limited time after purchase.

How the Platinum calculator works

Sourced figures
The 7 pack sizes and US prices come from Microsoft’s US catalogue, checked against the US PlayStation Store listings for the 6 packs it sells; the before-and-after sizes and which packs PlayStation lacks come from DE’s own refresh post. Trading, refund and cross-platform rules come from Warframe Support and DE’s Cross Platform guide.
Platinum → USD: the cheapest basket
Packs only come in fixed sizes, so “what does this cost” means “which packs reach at least this much Platinum for the least money”. The calculator runs an exact search over every combination of the packs your platform sells (an unbounded knapsack, not “biggest pack first”), in steps of 5 Platinum. On a tie it picks fewer purchases. Beside it, it shows the cheapest single pack that covers the amount, and what the Platinum cost at the best and worst pack rates.
USD → Platinum: the most for a budget
For a budget it finds the combination that gives the most Platinum without going over, and shows what is left unspent and the biggest single pack you could buy instead.
Bonus coupon
With a bonus coupon, it tries the coupon on each pack in turn, fills the rest of the target with the cheapest normal basket, and keeps the cheapest result.
What we assume
Prices are US prices before sales tax, with no sale running. We assume the store price is what you pay; we did not reach a checkout. In coupon mode we assume one bonus coupon applies to one pack of your choice and that the bonus is rounded down to whole Platinum — DE does not publish either rule on its support site, and the coupon sizes on this page (25%, 50%, 75%) are examples, not a list of coupons DE issues. Example targets, budgets and trade prices are numbers we picked to show the maths.

What we checked on 16 October 2026, and what we could not

We read every price in this tool on 16 October 2026. On the US PlayStation Store we searched for Warframe Platinum and found 6 packs; each listing’s data carries the Platinum in its title and a base price in USD. We work from Poland, so to rule out local pricing we also asked Microsoft’s store catalogue for the Xbox Platinum products with the market set to US: the same 6 prices to the cent, each with a Purchase action, plus a 4,600-Platinum pack at $199.99.

The pack sizes match DE’s own “Platinum Packs Refresh” post, which lists every pack before and after 17 February 2026. We were surprised that the two largest packs come out level: 3,450 for $149.99 and 4,600 for $199.99 are both $4.35 per 100 Platinum, so above $149.99 the bigger pack saves nothing.

We also opened warframe.com’s own Platinum shop. From here it priced in Polish złoty, so we used none of its prices — but its line-up was useful: 6 packs, every size except 3,450. The page header also carries the two coupon slots (“% off all Platinum” and “% Bonus Platinum on select packs”).

What we could not check: PC prices in US dollars (warframe.com and the Steam in-game store both price by the buyer’s location), the Nintendo eShop, mobile stores, any country other than the US, and the coupon rules beyond what the coupon slots on warframe.com show. We did not buy anything.

Warframe Platinum questions, answered

How much is 1,000 Platinum in Warframe?

$49.99 in the US, as 1 × 1,025 — the 1,025 pack, which held exactly 1,000 Platinum until DE’s refresh on 17 February 2026. Valued at the best pack rate, 1,000 Platinum cost $43.48; at the worst, $66.53.

How much are Warframe Platinum packs?

In the US, before sales tax: 75 Platinum for $4.99, 175 Platinum for $9.99, 380 Platinum for $19.99, 1,025 Platinum for $49.99, 2,200 Platinum for $99.99, 3,450 Platinum for $149.99, 4,600 Platinum for $199.99. Microsoft’s US store catalogue listed all 7 on 16 October 2026; the US PlayStation Store listed the same prices for the 6 it sells (no 4,600 pack).

How much is 1 Platinum worth in USD?

Between 4.35¢ and 6.65¢, depending on the pack it came from — 23 to 15 Platinum per dollar. That is what Platinum costs to buy, not a resale value: Warframe Support says trading Platinum or items for real money breaks the Terms of Use.

How much Platinum do you get for $10, $20, $50 or $100?

$10 buys 175 Platinum (1 × 175, $9.99); $20 buys 380 Platinum (1 × 380, $19.99); $50 buys 1,025 Platinum (1 × 1,025, $49.99); $100 buys 2,200 Platinum (1 × 2,200, $99.99).

What is the best value Platinum pack?

The 3,450 pack at $149.99, by a hair: $4.35 per 100 Platinum, the same to the cent as the 4,600 pack at $199.99. The worst is the 75 pack at $6.65 per 100 — 53% more per Platinum.

Did Warframe change its Platinum packs?

Yes. On 17 February 2026 DE removed the Mods that had come with Platinum packs and raised the Platinum in 6 of the 7 packs: 170 → 175, 370 → 380, 1,000 → 1,025, 2,100 → 2,200, 3,210 → 3,450, 4,300 → 4,600; 75 stayed 75. DE’s post lists average price rises only for Philippine peso (PHP) (4%), Indonesian rupiah (IDR) (5%), Turkish lira (TRY) (8%), Argentine peso (ARS), Xbox and Switch only (64%).

Why can’t I find the 4,600 Platinum pack on PlayStation?

DE says the 4,600 pack is not sold on PlayStation to stay within regional and platform pricing limits, and the 3,450 pack is not sold on PlayStation in Asia outside Japan. Because the two packs cost the same per Platinum, PlayStation players lose little: 5,000 Platinum is $229.95 on PlayStation against $224.95 on Xbox.

Do Platinum coupons stack, and which pack should I use one on?

warframe.com shows two kinds of coupon: a percentage off all Platinum and a percentage of bonus Platinum on select packs. DE’s support pages do not set out the stacking rules, so the calculator assumes one coupon on one pack. With that rule, the best pack is not always the biggest: the coupon mode tries the coupon on every pack and keeps the cheapest way to your target.

Can you trade Platinum to other players?

Yes, but only purchased Platinum, per Warframe Support’s Trading FAQ, and your account needs Mastery Rank 2 and two-factor authentication. Trade tax is paid in Credits. DE’s Cross Platform guide allows trading across platforms except Platinum trades between Nintendo Switch and other platforms.

Can you get a refund on Warframe Platinum?

Warframe Support’s Platinum FAQ says that once purchased Platinum has been spent, no refund is possible, and refunds are only available for a limited time after purchase. Platinum bought through PlayStation, Xbox or Steam is paid to that store, so its own refund rules apply too.
