HSR Oneiric Shards Calculator: warps to USD and the cheapest tiers

This HSR Oneiric Shards calculator turns warps into dollars, and dollars into warps, using the 6 Oneiric Shards tiers on the US PlayStation Store. The short answer: tiers run from 60 Oneiric Shards for $0.99 to 6,480 Oneiric Shards for $99.99; a 10-pull (1,600 Stellar Jade) costs $14.99 when you use a first-purchase bonus and $22.95 when you do not; and one warp costs between $1.21 and $2.64 depending on the tier and whether it is your first purchase of it.

Worked examples: what warps cost in Oneiric Shards and dollars

A 10-pull
10 warps is 1,600 Stellar Jade. With the first-purchase bonus: 1 × 980 (first) for $14.99 (1,960 Oneiric Shards, 1 purchase), $1.50 per warp. Without it: 1 × 980 (repeat) + 1 × 300 (repeat) + 3 × 60 (repeat) for $22.95 (1,600 Oneiric Shards, 5 purchases), which is $7.96 more.
90 warps from nothing
14,400 Jade. With every first bonus available: 1 × 6,480 (first) + 1 × 980 (first) for $114.98 (14,920 Oneiric Shards, 2 purchases). With none: 1 × 6,480 (repeat) + 1 × 3,280 (repeat) + 1 × 1,980 (repeat) + 4 × 60 (repeat) for $183.93 (14,440 Oneiric Shards, 7 purchases), $68.95 more.
90 warps with 6,000 Jade already saved
The 6,000 Jade you hold comes off first, leaving 8,400 shards to buy: 1 × 3,280 (first) + 1 × 980 (first) for $64.98 (8,520 Oneiric Shards, 2 purchases).
The 180-warp worst case
28,800 Jade: 1 × 6,480 (first) + 1 × 3,280 (first) + 1 × 1,980 (first) + 1 × 1,980 (repeat) + 1 × 980 (first) + 1 × 300 (first) + 1 × 60 (first) + 7 × 60 (repeat) for $237.86 (28,820 Oneiric Shards, 14 purchases). That is $1.32 per warp, across 14 purchases; each first bonus is used at most once, and the rest is repeat purchases.
A $25 budget
2,920 Oneiric Shards (1 × 980 (first) + 1 × 300 (first) + 1 × 60 (first) + 4 × 60 (repeat)), which is 18 warps. With no first bonus left: 1,750 Oneiric Shards, 10 warps.
A $100 budget
13,080 Oneiric Shards (1 × 3,280 (first) + 1 × 1,980 (first) + 1 × 980 (first) + 1 × 300 (first)), 81 warps. With no first bonus left the best basket is 1 × 6,480 (repeat): 8,080 Oneiric Shards, 50 warps.

Six things that change what you pay for Oneiric Shards

  • The first-purchase bonus belongs to each tier and happens once. The 980 tier gives 1,960 shards the first time and 1,090 afterwards, so a second one at $14.99 is a much poorer deal ($2.20 per warp instead of $1.22).
  • The 60 tier states no repeat bonus: a second pack is 60 shards for $0.99, 165¢ per 100, the worst rate on the list.
  • Repeat purchases reward size: the 6,480 tier is $1.98 per warp against $2.64 for the 60 tier. If your first bonuses are gone, buy the biggest tier you will use.
  • Converting Oneiric Shards into Stellar Jade is, as far as we know, a one-way step (an assumption, see the method section), so convert only what you will spend on warps soon.
  • A warp is 160 Jade (also an assumption), so shards rarely land on a whole number of warps. Our default 10-pull leaves 360 spare shards; they carry over, but they are money you did not plan to spend.
  • The prices here are US PlayStation Store prices before sales tax, read on one day. We did not check mobile stores or the web top-up center, so do not assume they match.

How the HSR Oneiric Shards calculator works

Sourced figures

The 6 tiers, their US prices, their first-purchase bonuses and their repeat bonuses all come from the six PlayStation Store listings. The listing text also tells us that Oneiric Shards redeem into Stellar Jade and that Stellar Jade redeems Star Rail Passes and Special Passes. The official top-up center is cited only to show the account rule: the login must be the game account you top up.

Warps → USD: the cheapest purchases

Warps become Stellar Jade, the Jade you already own comes off, and what remains is the shards to buy. Each tier you tick as “not bought yet” may be bought once at its first-purchase size. The calculator tries every combination of those first purchases (at most 64) and fills the rest with repeat purchases using an exact search, not a “biggest tier first” rule. It keeps the cheapest; ties go to fewer purchases, then more shards.

Budget → warps: the most shards

For a budget it does the same search in reverse: the combination of first and repeat purchases that gives the most shards without going over, then your whole warps from those shards plus the Jade you hold. Above $400.00 it fills the bulk with the best-rate repeat tier first, which never changes the answer.

Price per warp

A tier’s price divided by the shards it gives, times the Jade per warp. For a mix, the effective rate is what you pay divided by everything you get, leftover included.

What we assume (not sourced)

1 Oneiric Shard converts into 1 Stellar Jade; 160 Stellar Jade buy one Star Rail Special Pass (one warp); a limited character banner guarantees a 5-star by 90 warps, and with the 50/50 the worst case is 180. These are widely repeated and match our own guide, but we did not find them on a first-party page we could open. We also assume no sale is running, that the first-purchase bonus you tick is still on offer for your account, and that prices are US PlayStation Store prices before sales tax. Prices elsewhere differ and are not converted.

What we checked on 9 October 2026, and what we could not

We read the 6 “Honkai: Star Rail • Oneiric Shard” product pages on the US PlayStation Store on 9 October 2026. Each page’s data carried the currency code USD and a base price, and each description named the first-purchase bonus; all but the 60 tier also named a repeat bonus. The prices ran from $0.99 to $99.99.

The first thing we noticed is that the 60 tier is the odd one out: it states a first-purchase bonus and no repeat bonus, so a second 60 pack is 60 shards for $0.99, $2.64 per warp, the worst rate on the list. The best repeat rate is in the biggest tier, at $1.98 per warp.

We could not confirm the exchange rates and pity numbers on a first-party page: HoYoverse’s news pages render in the browser, and the official top-up center asks you to log in first. The PlayStation listings confirm that shards redeem into Stellar Jade and Jade into passes, but not the 1:1 ratio, the 160-Jade price of a warp or the 90/180 pity numbers. Those are listed as assumptions, not sourced figures.

We did not check Google Play, the App Store, the web top-up center or any country other than the US, so this tool gives no price for them.

HSR Oneiric Shards questions, answered

What is the HSR top up price?

On the US PlayStation Store on 9 October 2026, before sales tax: 60 Oneiric Shards for $0.99, 300 Oneiric Shards for $4.99, 980 Oneiric Shards for $14.99, 1,980 Oneiric Shards for $29.99, 3,280 Oneiric Shards for $49.99, 6,480 Oneiric Shards for $99.99. Each tier also carries a one-time first-purchase bonus and, from the 300 tier up, a smaller repeat bonus. We only verified the US PlayStation Store: mobile app stores and the official web top-up center may charge differently, and we did not check them.

How much does a 10 pull cost in HSR?

A 10-pull is 10 warps, which is 1,600 Stellar Jade at 160 Jade per warp. The cheapest way is 1 × 980 (first) for $14.99 if the first-purchase bonus on the 980 tier is still available to you (360 shards left over). Once every first bonus is used, it is 1 × 980 (repeat) + 1 × 300 (repeat) + 3 × 60 (repeat) for $22.95.

How much is 160 Stellar Jade in USD?

160 Stellar Jade is one warp. You cannot buy exactly 160 shards: the cheapest purchase is 1 × 60 (first) + 1 × 60 (repeat) for $1.98 while the first bonus on the 60 tier is available, or 3 × 60 (repeat) for $2.97 after that. At a bigger tier’s rate, 160 shards are worth $1.21 first-time at the 1,980 tier and $1.98 on a repeat purchase of the 6,480 tier.

How do I convert Oneiric Shards to USD?

Divide the tier’s price by the shards it gives. First-time, 1,980 tier: $29.99 for 3,960 shards is 75.7¢ per 100. Repeat, 6,480 tier: $99.99 for 8,080 shards is 123.8¢ per 100. The worst rates are 83.2¢ per 100 for a first purchase (300 tier) and 165¢ for a repeat (60 tier). The Shards ↔ USD tab does this for any amount.

How does the first-purchase bonus work?

Every PlayStation listing says you get additional shards “for the first purchase of this item”, and the 300 tier and above add a smaller amount “for subsequent purchases”. So the bonus belongs to each tier separately and is claimed once per tier: the 980 tier is 1,960 shards the first time and 1,090 every time after. The 60 tier has no repeat bonus at all, so a second one is 60 shards for $0.99. Our own guide says HoYoverse reset these bonuses at the 4.2 launch on 22 April 2026; we did not re-check that on a HoYoverse page, so read the listing text before you buy. The calculator lets you untick any tier you have already bought.

Which Oneiric Shards tier is the best value?

For a first purchase, the 1,980 tier (75.7¢ per 100 shards, $1.21 per warp). For repeat purchases the 6,480 tier wins clearly at 123.8¢ per 100 ($1.98 per warp), and the 60 tier is worst at $2.64 per warp. Only the 60 tier gets no repeat bonus.

How much does a guaranteed 5-star cost in Honkai: Star Rail?

If limited banners guarantee a 5-star by 90 warps and a lost 50/50 means up to 180 (rules we could not confirm on a first-party page, so treat them as assumptions), that is 14,400 and 28,800 Stellar Jade. From zero Jade, 90 warps cost $114.98 with every first bonus available or $183.93 with none; 180 warps cost $237.86 or $360.89. Stellar Jade you already own comes off the total.

How many warps can I get for $50?

With every first bonus available, $50 buys 6,560 Oneiric Shards (1 × 3,280 (first)), which is 41 warps with 0 Jade left over. With no first bonus left it buys 3,880 Oneiric Shards, 24 warps. These prices exclude sales tax, so a $50 wallet balance can buy less.

Do Oneiric Shards convert into Stellar Jade 1:1?

We assume so, and the arithmetic here uses 1 shard = 1 Stellar Jade, but we did not find that ratio stated on a HoYoverse page we could open. What the PlayStation listings do say is that Oneiric Shards can be used to redeem Stellar Jade, and that Stellar Jade redeems Star Rail Passes and Special Passes. The conversion is one-way, as far as we know, so only convert what you plan to spend.

Are the prices the same on mobile, PC or the web top-up center?

We do not know. We read the six US PlayStation Store listings on 9 October 2026 and nothing else: HoYoverse’s web top-up center needs a login before it shows anything, and we did not check Google Play or the App Store prices, so we state none. Treat this tool’s dollar figures as US PlayStation Store prices, before sales tax, and compare with what your own store shows.
